Your email address that is managed by ComputerCC has been rerouted to a redundant server.  Below is the critical information that is needed for you to be able to successfully receive email in the future.

To connect to your newly migrated email account with a web browser:

http://webmail.your-domain.com (replace ”your-domain.com” with the ending part of your email address).

Examples:

If your email address was username@computercc.com, you would go to http://webmail.computercc.com.
If your email address was username@protec1.com, you would go to http://webmail.protec1.com.
If your email address was username@goliath.com, you would go to http://webmail.goliath.com.

IMPORTANT NOTE - If your email password on the old email server had fewer than 6 characters, your new email password will have “123456″ appended to the end of your old password. Example - if your old password was “abc”, your new password is “abc123456″.

To connect to your newly migrated email account with a mail client such as Microsoft Outlook, you’ll need to following information to edit your existing mail profile/account, or to create a new profile/account:

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server - requires SSL: pop.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS: smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some email clients call this SSL)
Port: use either 465 or 587
Account Name: your email address (e.g., username@your-domain.com)
Email Address: your email address (e.g., username@your-domain.com)
Password: your email password (same as your previous email password, unless that password is less than 6 characters long - if it is, add 123456 to the end of your old password. Example - if your old password is “Joe”, then your new password is “Joe123456″. If your old password is “banana”, then the new one is “banana” too, since that’s 6 or more characters long).

Please use the web browser method describe above as a temporary method of accessing your email if you have difficulty modifying your email client. Once Hurricane Gustav leaves the area, there will be more time and resources available to work one-on-one with our customers who need this type of assistance.
